The Phone Box. (1) A direct reference to Doctor Who, my favorite time-traveling alien. His method of transport, the TARDIS, allows him to travel into the future. This blog is about my own future; the future of my family.
The Phone Box. (2) A reference to the idea of going into a small room in order to contact someone. Talking it out, speaking to a loved one sharing good news; calling a loved one in a time of sorrow.
I started this as a reason to talk it out. I wanted a way to communicate my happiness of every day life, the wonderment of being a daughter-in-law who loves to bake for her in-laws. The joy of impromptu dance parties with my husband in the living room. I wanted a reason to cry; to yell & scream at the frustration of our struggle.
But most importantly, I see this blog as a way to help me to keep it all in perspective. The last thing I want to do is whine, but I do want my voice heard, even if I am the only one on the other end of the line.
